East Operations Summer Student
1 Position Available – Bow Island Shop
St. Mary River Irrigation District requires 1 Operations Summer Student for our Eastern Division based in Bow Island.
This is a summer position which usually runs from the end of April to the end of August each year.
Duties may include weed control, working on various construction and maintenance projects or administration projects.
Knowledge and skills relating to irrigation construction as well as experience with operating canals & buried pipeline systems would be an asset but are not required.
The ideal candidate must be able to work in all weather conditions and have a minimum Class 5 – GDL License with a clean abstract.
Residency within 60 km is required.
