Attention Irrigators,
The St. Mary River Irrigation District Board of Directors has revised the water allocation for the 2023 water season from 15” to 14” of water per acre, at the farm gate. This is based on the latest Irrigation Water Supply Forecast prepared by Alberta Agriculture and Irrigation, which monitors snow pack, precipitation and reservoir storage.
The allocation will be revisited if we receive appropriate June or July precipitation events.
