Truck Driver/ Equipment Operator
SMRID requires a full-time permanent truck driver/equipment operator for our West Division based in Broxburn. Duties include operating the district’s tandem trucks with pups or trailers to move equipment or materials, operating/ maintaining district equipment and working on various construction/ maintenance projects as needed.
This position requires:
- a Class 1 Alberta Operator’s License (with Q endorsement), and a clean 3 Year driver’s abstract
- construction knowledge and skills
- the ability to operate and maintain equipment with 3 – 5 years’ experience
- In the winter season, candidate may be in a labor role
