SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE
The SMRID awards up to fifteen, annual scholarships in the amount of $2,000 each to students who either:
- have irrigation acres within SMRID
- whose parents have irrigation acres within SMRID
- students with parents employed by ratepaying irrigators within SMRID; or
- students of SMRID Staff
The student must be entering 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th year of full-time study at a recognized university, college or technical institute. Preferential consideration will be given to students enrolled in an agriculturally related program of study. Applications are available at the SMRID office or online at www.smrid.com
Both application and a transcript of post-secondary education marks must be received by August 31, 2022.
